Honkai Star Rail - How to Use Windowed or Full Screen Mode

Honkai: Star Rail allows players to enjoy the game in either Windowed or Full Screen mode. See how to use Windowed or Full Screen mode, change screen resolutions, and toggle between modes with the shortcut keys!

How to Use Windowed or Full Screen Mode

Go to Settings in the Menu

Honkai Star Rail - Settings Button

Settings can be accessed through the menu at the right side. You can also change other in-game settings like audio, language, and key bindings here.

Select a Screen Resolution

Honkai Star Rail - Graphics Settings

In the Settings menu, you should be in the Graphics Settings tab by default. Choose your preferred resolution and display mode from the drop-down box.

Resolution options that do not have Full Screen in the name will display the game in Windowed mode.

Toggle Modes with Shortcut keys

Like with most applications, you can toggle between Windowed and Full Screen modes by pressing Alt + Enter at the same time.

If you are using a non-native resolution to play the game in Windowed mode, take note that using this shortcut to switch to Full Screen mode will not automatically display the game in your native resolution. You will still need to select your native screen resolution for better graphical fidelity.
