Xerneas and Yveltal are the box legendaries for the original Pokemon X and Y games, who could be slated to have alternate forms in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Read on to learn more about this theory and what other games featured the same trend!

Xerneas and Yveltal Could Get Alternate Forms in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Because Pokemon Legends: Z-A is a 'Legends' game, it is a good guess that Xerneas and Yveltal could have a Complete Forme like Zygarde does.
Another fun speculation is that Zygarde could fuse with Xerneas or Yveltal to 'complete' them, similar to how Kyurem fused with Reshiram and Zekrom in BW2. This would make it so Xerneas and Yveltal would look like a fusion between them and Zygarde.
This would also follow the trend of box legendaries getting alternate forms in recent games.

If we look at Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, from ORAS, we can speculate that Xerneas and Yveltal could get alternate Abilities when they change forms.
Primal Groudon's Desolate Sun was an enhanced version of Sun, while Primal Kyogre's Primordial Sea was an enhanced form of Rain.
We could possibly see enhanced versions of Xerneas's Fairy Aura and Yveltal's Dark Aura.
