Mourning Aix Location and How to Get to It
Fallen Grave
Mourning Aix is located near the southernmost point of Huanglong near the Fallen Grave in Whining Aix's Mire. You'll need to avoid the storm to reach the beacon and the boss.
Tactical Hologram is in Whining Aix's Mire
The Tactical Hologram for Mourning Aix is also found in Whining Aix's Mire. It's located to the East of the regular Boss Challenge.

Avoid Staying Directly In Front
Most of the Mourning Aix's attacks are forward-facing and cover a small area. Maintain aggression by weaving your attacks and dodges while continuously strafing to either side.
Watch For Flashing Lights
The Mourning Aix telegraphs it moves with a flash of light on its wings, tail, and chest.
Even if you haven't memorized its attack patterns yet, you can easily take it down by getting ready to dodge shortly after you see the distinct glow.
Tactical Hologram Has More Moves
The Mourning Aix fought in the Tactical Hologram is more aggressive and dangerous, boasting more moves and range. It punishes failed parries with moves where it grabs your character and follows up with attacks that can easily take out a lot health. Another move is a split laser which can be dodged.
How to Parry and Counterattack
Resistant to Spectro
The Mourning Aix resists Spectro DMG. If your main DPS is Rover (Spectro) and you don't have other options, consider using the free character Chixia as she can safely deal sustained damage at a distance without getting punished by the Spectro DMG resistance.
