Complete Chapter 1 Act 3 Ominous Star Main Quest
Remnants of the Past Days automatically unlocks in your quest list after completing Chapter 1 Act 3 Main Quest Ominous Star, and if you have collected some Sonance Caskets during your explorations.

Deliver Sonance Caskets to the Relic Merchant
Head over to the quest marker located west of Jinzhou City and talk to Chenpi, the Relic Merchant. Afterward, deliver a Sonance Casket to him and receive the rewards in order to complete the quest and successfully unlock this in-game feature.
