Wuthering Waves 2.2 has released last March 27, 2025 after a 6 hour maintenance! This update will continue the main questline happening in Rinascita. It will also feature the new playable character, Cantarella, as well as her signature weapon!
It has also been confirmed that Version 2.2 is on a shortened schedule, so it will only run for around 30 days and end on April 29, 2025 instead of the usual 40 day patch cycle.

Whispers of Sirens (Rectifier)
Whispers of Sirens is a 5-star Rectifier and is the signature weapon of the new Havoc character, Cantarella. This weapon is available to get from its own Absolute Pulsation banner in the first half of Version 2.2, running in parallel to Cantarella.

Avinoleum Theological Seminary
The Avinoleum, or also known as Avinoleum Theological Seminary, an area in Rinascita available from Version 2.2. This location is available to explore while doing the quest, The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier.
Players will get to explore the area and solve unique puzzles with new mechanics, such as the new Gravity Calibrators! Get ready to fight enemies and bosses in the area and gain rewards across the map in WuWa 2.2.

Gusts of Welkin is a new Sonata Effect that makes use of the Aero Erosion mechanic. Gather the 5-pc bonus for your Aero resonators through the new echoes and tacet fields!

Players now have an easier time to upgrade their Resonators. Once they don't have certain materials, they can open Supply Packs directly in the Resonator's upgrade menu!
Story Review
The long awaited Story Review has come out in Version 2.2. Players can now go through dialogue and read what they missed while going through the quests!
Main Quest Walkthrough and Story Chapter List
Exploration Feature
There'll be more Waypoints and and Casket Sonars deployed at the same time in the Version 2.2. Both of them will be increased to 10 and 5 respectively.
Color Settings
Version 2.2 features new Color Setting features where players can adjust the game's brightness, contrast, and color saturation!
PC Launcher
With the new launcher that came out in Version 2.1, incremental updates are now possible. The game resources in the future updates will have reduced sizes!
Titles System
Players are now able to showcase their achievements better to other players in Version 2.2. Players can show off their growth and skills within the game, while checking how others are doing!
Pre-Download for Mobile
Mobile users will be able to enjoy the pre-download feature in Version 2.3! Thanks to this, mobile players can enjoy the update as soon as it releases!
