Wuthering Waves 2.6 was released last August 28, 2025 and ran until October 8, 2025. The update brings in previously shown characters, Augusta and Iuno, who will be major players as Rinascita's story continues to unfold. We will also be taking a trip back to Septimont with a new area previously unexplorable.

Five 5-star limited characters ran in Version 2.6! In Phase 1, players were able to pull the mighty Ephor of Septimont, Augusta, alongside Carlotta, a friend and ally from the Montelli family of Ragunna City, and Shorekeeper, our companion from the Black Shores!
As for Phase 2, Iuno, the renowned Priestess of Septimont and counterpart to Augusta, had her debut banner. She ran alongside Ciaccona, a strong Aero Erosion sub-DPS and bard wandering across Rinascita.

Thunderflare Dominion (Broadblade)
Thunderflare Dominion is a 5-star Broadblade and is the signature weapon of the mighty Ephor, Augusta. This weapon is available to get from its own Absolute Pulsation banner in the first half of Version 2.6, running alongside The Last Dance, Carlotta's signature pistols and Shorekeeper's rectifier, Stellar Symphony!

Moongazer's Sigil (Gauntlet)
Moongazer's Sigil is a 5-star Gauntlet and is Iuno's signature weapon. It is available starting phase 2 of Version 2.6, together with Ciaccona's featured pistols, Woodland Aria.

A new set of Battle Pass weapons is available starting Version 2.6. The new Battlepass weapons, Hunter's Growl Series, can be received by purchasing the battle pass and leveling it up. Do note that only one weapon can be received per patch, but you can get it multiple times across multiple versions.

Chapter 2 Act 8 - By Sun's Burning Hand
Chapter 2 Act 8, By Sun's Burning Hand, is available once Version 2.6 launches. This Main Quest covers the first half of our return to Septimont, as Rover fights with Rinascita to combat the Dark Tide.

Chapter 2 Act 9 - By Moon's Revelation
Chapter 2 Act 9, By Moon's Revelation, will be released on September 17, 2025 in Phase 2 of Version 2.6.
Players will be working alongside Iuno and Augusta as the concern of the Journeying Paradise continues to grow. This Main Quest is likely to be the finale of Rinascita's story, as our battle with Leviathan reaches its climax.

2.6 New Area
Sanguis Plateaus
Sanguis Plateaus is the new explorable area in Version 2.6. The new location can be found southwest of Capitoline Hill, previously covered in thick clouds.
The new area is shown to be a mountainous area filled with glowing fauna and Tacet Discords. Sanguis Plateaus is depicted to be the previous hunting grounds known by many gladiators, but has since been visited due to the growing corruption of the Dark Tide.

New Echoes is coming to Wuthering Waves in 2.6! New echoes include Nightmare and Phantom variants of previous enemies encountered throughout Rover's journey.

The False Sovereign
The False Sovereign is a new boss that the players have encountered in WuWa 2.6. It is tied to the Main Quest, so you can expect to fight it as you progress through the story.
Lady of the Sea
Lady of the Sea is a new boss in Wuthering Waves 2.6. Players is able to fight Mya's corrupted form in the game and get her Echo!
New Tactical Hologram
Lady of the Sea
A new Tactical Hologram is now available in Version 2.6. Lady of the Sea is an abomination born from the corruption of the Dark Tide. Defeat it to gain rewards in increasing difficulties!

Crown of Valor Echo Set

3-pc bonus: Upon gaining a Shield, increase the Resonator's ATK by 6% and Crit. DMG by 4% for 4s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and stacks up to 5 times. |
Crown of Valor is a new Echo set that provides general damage buffs when characters gain a shield. This is likely to be a viable option for teams that have shields, such as Mono Fusion teams with Brant, and potentially Augusta with her Shield mechanics.

3-pc bonus: Casting Echo Skill grants 30% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus to the caster for 4s. Additionally, all Resonators in the team gain 4% Echo Skill DMG Bonus for 30s, stacking up to 4 times. Echoes of the same name can only trigger this effect once. The record of Echo triggering this effect is cleared along with this effect. At 4 stacks, casting Echo Skill again resets the duration of this effect. |
Law of Harmony is a new Echo set revolving around Echo Skill DMG and Heavy Attack DMG. This is likely to be a viable option for Roccia given that she scales off Heavy Attack DMG and performs well in Echo Skill-oriented teams.

Windrider Project
Windrider Project is a Flight event that lets you unlock Utility: Flight for the different regions that was previously explored, including Huanglong and the Black Shores. Complete tasks to gain rewards and unlock the feature!
Tidal Defense Simulator
Tidal Defense Simulator is a new Permanent Event in WuWa 2.6 that lets you deploy Combat Machines to fight off Tacet Discords. Use your resources to defeat waves of enemies and protect the Energy Matrix to gain rewards!
Do note that while this is a permanent event, there are still limited time rewards only available during the event duration. Don't miss out on these rewards!
Hunt of Ash and Steel
Hunt of Ash and Steel is an area exploration event that gives you rewards by completing quests around Sanguis Plateaus. Explore the area to gain Astrites and other items!
Marks of the Wild
Marks of the Wild is an event in 2.6 that lets you solve puzzles for rewards. Connect the symbols together in a set number of turns to collect your rewards!
Moonlit Revelation
Moonlit Revelation is a login event that lets you receive Waveborn Moonstones to decipher moon readings. Deciphering them will reward you with premium rewards, alongside an Overworld buff. Unlock all of these Overworld buffs to get an exclusive Avatar, Wax and Wane.
Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra)
Anomalies will be showing up throughout the event's game scenes. Hunt them down and fix them to finish the stages!
Prints of Plateaus
Prints of Plateaus is made available in 2.6, letting players take pictures of the new area, Sanguis Plateaus, while getting rewards in the process.
Back to Solaris
Back to Solaris is an event that gives you rewards for inviting players who have not played the game again for more than 30 days. Share your code to returning players, so both of you can get rewards.
Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas
Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas is an exploration event that lets you gain extra rewards for exploring the new area, Sanguis Plateaus in Septimont! Increase your exploration progress to claim the rewards!
Gifts of the Moon Roamer
Gifts of the Moon Roamer is a login event wherein you get Radiant Tides and Forging Tides by simply logging in during the event duration. Make sure to collect them before it ends!
Gifts of the Hunt
Gifts of the Hunt is a 7-day login event that lets you collect Lustrous Tides and Radiant Tides by simply logging into the game during 2.6.
Beyond the Waves: Rinascita
Beyond the Waves: Rinascita is making a return in 2.6. This exploration event lets you collect rewards by completing objectives and flipping tiles across the board!

Flight Now Available in All Regions
Flight is now available for the different regions previously explored in Version 2.6. You may use Utility: Flight to explore Huanglong and the Black Shores once again!
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways Overhaul
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways is receiving some changes in Version 2.6. New content will be added to the game mode, including an additional stage, new metaphors, an improved UI, and a button to claim all rewards!

Record Sync in End Game Content
In 2.6, players is now be able to automatically clear certain floors or stages based on your previous cycle. If you were able to clear Whimpering Wastes and Tower of Adversity, you can jump to higher floors in the next cycle!
Additional Floors in Tower of Adversity
Two new floors is added to the Hazard Tower in Version 2.6. This will give players more rewards with improvements to this end game mode.
New Ember Mechanic in Whimpering Wastes
A mechanic is added in Whimpering Wastes after 2.6. Dealing damage against enemies will build up Ember, which will let your Resonators enter the Burning Waves state to deal even higher damage for better clearing.

Collectible Tracking in Huanglong
A new tracking feature is added in 2.6, wherein players can track certain collectibles in Huanglong. This can be useful for those who truly want to 100% the game!
Lootmapper Range Increase
The lootmapper gets an upgrade in Wuthering Waves 2.6. Players will be able to use it while exploring the map and benefit from its increased range. Locate hidden Supply Chests more easily!
New Weapons Gallery
Improvements to the Gallery have arrived in 2.6. Players are now be able to view the details of all weapons and weapon projections in Wuthering Waves.
One-Click Claim All
The in-game interface and experience has been updated for majority of the available content in Wuthering Waves. Players are now able to claim all available rewards with one click by simply claiming any reward on the page. This feature includes all events, the Guidebook, and Data Bank!
Graphics Performance Optimization
Support on frame generation for PCs will be extended to even more graphics cards starting 2.6. This update considers video cards from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA! More details will be announced on which new cards are supported.
