How to Play Banners Never Fall
Reclaim All Five Zones

In this Permanent Challenge Event, players will have to clear 5 Zones within Septimont’s Old District and battle through challenging enemies. Each Zone contains two to four Medium Banners and one Major Banner, with the latter serving as the key to fully clearing the area.
In addition to these, unmarked Banners of Conquest and Trophy Chests are scattered throughout, waiting to be claimed by adventurous Rovers!
Defeat all Elite Enemies
Defeating a Zone’s Elite Enemy will instantly complete all marked Banners of Conquest in that area and allow players to track the location of all Trophy Chests within it.
While players can take a shortcut by challenging the Elite Enemy first, doing so at a lower Glory Level makes the battle significantly challenging. This route is only recommended if you have a well-built team team capable of both surviving heavy hits and dishing out steady damage in return.
Raise Your Glory Level
Raising your Glory Level is crucial, as a higher level makes it easier to overcome enemies in each Zone. Displayed at the top-left corner of your screen beside the minimap, your Glory Level increases by completing Medium and Major Banners, defeating roaming enemies, activating unmarked Banners of Conquest, and opening Trophy Chests scattered throughout the area.
Higher Glory Levels Unlock Better Buffs
Each time your Glory Level increases past a certain milestone, you’ll unlock a new buff to aid you in combat. The smaller the gap between your Glory Level and the enemy’s, the smoother your battles will go. Keep an eye on your Glory Level and consider it carefully before taking on a formidable foe!
Temporarily Raise Glory Level in Battle
During battle, performing actions like Counterattacks, Dodge-Counters, or landing successful hits will earn you Battle Engagement Points, filling the orange progress bar at the bottom of your screen, and temporarily raising your in-battle Glory Level.
The more combos you string together, the higher it climbs, but taking damage will cause some of it to drop. Keep in mind, this boost is only temporary in-battle and does not permanently affect your Glory Level.
Being Defeated in a Zone Reduces Your Glory Level
One downside to challenging banners above your current Glory Level is that being defeated will cause your Glory Level to drop. Don’t worry though, as your level will reset to your current Trial Level, and you’ll receive a Hunt Points bonus. This bonus will remain active until you recover the highest Glory Level you previously reached.
Increase Your Trial Level
Your Trial Level and Glory Level increase hand-in-hand through the same activities, though at different rates. Your Trial Level progresses slower and serves as a safety net. If you're defeated in a tough battle, your Glory Level will reset only to your current Trial Level, preventing a full loss of progress!
Activate All Banners to Conclude the Event
Once all Zones have been cleared, you'd have successfully cleansed the Old District of the TDs plaguing its areas. This allows you to deactivate the Banners Never Fall event, taking away the Glory Level system and restoring the usual enemy spawns in those areas.
However, any unclaimed Trophy Chests and buffs within the area will still be available to collect and unlock for players who want to explore the Zones!
