Support Card Tier List Updated (September 17, 2025) |
|---|---|
| Before Reading! | |
| ⓘ Support Card availability will vary per player. For example, if you already have Max Limit Break (MLB, or 4 Diamonds) SR cards, it's best to go for those over non-MLB or lower-level SSRs.
ⓘ Make sure to check the skills of your Support Card, as some Support Cards are better fit for certain Characters over others. |
|
Make sure to check the Changelog since some Support Cards change in rank over time depending on the introduction of new Support Cards.

| Support Card | Placement |
|---|---|
Shinko Windy (///WARNING GATE///)
|
Tier:
・At MLB, has high Friendship Bonus and Initial Speed, but Specialty Priority is at the lower end. ・Comes with some speed skills for Mile, which can you use for the future CM Cancer Cup. ・Has relatively few events, but random events can give Energy and 1 Mood Up. |
Bamboo Memory (Head-On Fight!)
|
Tier:
・Has high Initial Power stat, but other stats are mostly outclassed by stronger Power cards like SSR Oguri Cap and SSR Vodka. ・Also lacks Special Priorty and Mood Effect. ・Skills are a mix; can provide a mix of Sprint and Mile skills, and Late Surger skills such as Rising Dragon. However, you can also get a purple skill from one of her events, which are self-debuffs. |
Reviews above are based on the Support Cards' max limit break stats.
Above are the newest Support Cards! Shinko Windy stands out as a valuable pull on the banner, being a new viable SR Speed Card in the class of SR Sweep Tosho and SR Eishin Flash. SSR Bamboo Memory serves as an alright Power Card, though you will get more mileage out of existing Power Cards already if you have them.
Above lists each current SSR and SR Support Card per tier, sorted by Card Type and Rarity.
R-class support cards were omitted to minimize bulk on the list (which will see more Support Cards later on). R Cards are still viable for Career completions, but SSRs and SRs will remain to be the go-to cards for raising Veteran Umamusume competitively for game modes such as Team Trials.
| By Running Styles/Strategy |
|---|
| Front Runner | Pace Chaser
Late Surger | End Closer Debuffer |
| Support Card | Key Points |
|---|---|
Silence Suzuka (Beyond This Shining Moment)
|
・Large amount of Front Runner yellow skills.
・Has Front Runner Savvy ・Has Unrestrained, Focus, and Front Runner Straightaways ◯ and Corners ◯. |
Twin Turbo (Turbo Booooost!)
|
・Large amount of Front Runner yellow skills.
・Has Moxie for Stamina Recovery. ・Useful event skills such as Leader's Price and Taking the Lead. |
Seiun Sky (Foolproof Plan)
|
・Has Escape Artist, Tail Held High, and Dodging Danger.
・Has debuff skills against Pace Chasers, Late Surgers. ・Has Trick (Front) for rushed runners behind. |
Front Runner characters always try to position themselves at the lead, so they'll want skills that can maximize their speed on both corners and straightaways. You will also want skills that will further improve their performance when they are at the leading position.
You can be more relaxed in having fewer navigational skills for this style since being at the front means less likely to be blocked. But having recovery skills like Moxie is still recommended.
| Support Card | Key Points |
|---|---|
Special Week (The Setting Sun And Rising Stars)
|
・Flexible for Pace Chasers with some benefit for Late Surgers.
・Has a good amount of blue recovery skills such as Gourmand. |
Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude)
|
・Flexible for any deck (and Pace Chasers are common).
・Has a chain event (1st of the chain) that has an option for guaranteed Practice Perfect ◯. ・Has Speed Star and Corner Adept ◯. |
Mejiro McQueen (Your Team Ace)
|
・Has a good amount of recovery skills for Long-focused Pace Chasers.
・Has sufficient yellow skills for Long-focused Pace Chasers. |
El Condor Pasa (Champion's Passion)
|
・Has a lot of yellow skills for Medium-focused Pace Chasers.
・Has Killer Tunes and the navigational skill Hawkeye. |
Tokai Teio (Dream Big!)
|
・Has a lot of yellow skills for Pace Chasers in general.
・Has Rushing Gale! and Pace Chaser Straightaways ◯. |
Pace Chasers are the most common kind of running style, mostly situating themselves at the middle-front) and will want a good balance of yellow speed skills and blue recovery skills. Navigational skills will also help the character get out of a pack into a good position during the race.
| Support Card | Key Points |
|---|---|
Eishin Flash (5:00 a.m.-Right on Schedule)
|
・Ample amount of yellow speed skills.
・Has Late Surger Straightaways and Corners. ・Chain events have energy recovery. |
Vodka (Wild Rider)
|

・Has Slick Surge, Homestretch Haste. ・Has the navigational skill Nimble Navigator. |
Agnes Tachyon (Experimental Studies on Subject A)

Grass Wonder (Fairest Fleur)

Manhattan Cafe (My Solo Drawn to Raindrop Drums)
|
・Has the navigational skill Studious for Late Surgers.
・Has a sufficient amount of Long Skills and the debuff Stamina Eater. |
Late Surgers usually hang towards the back of the race, and so will benefit from skills that trigger towards the back positions and trigger on passing racers. Speed is still essential for this style, since they will need all the acceleration they can get once they surge near the end of a race.
| Support Card | Key Points |
|---|---|
Gold Ship (Breakaway Battleship)
|
・Has End Closer Savvy
・Has a huge amount of of yellow skills for Long racers and End Closers. ・Has good navigational skills and Corner Connoisseur. |

Narita Taishin (Poolside High Tides)
|
・Has decent yellow and blue skills for End Closers.
・Has Intense Gaze debuff skill. ・Has Lone Wolf, which is great for Career runs and is viable for Team Trials |
End Closers settle at the fringes of the back in the race, even a bit further than Late Surgers. For this style, navigational skills are mandatory since they allow your Character to navigate through a pack (avoiding potential blocks).
Like Late Surgers, End Closers will pour all of their strength towards near the end of the race, breaking through packs or overtaking them on the outside.
| Support Card | Key Points |
|---|---|

Grass Wonder (Fairest Fleur)
|
・Has debuff skills against Pace Chasers (Flustered and Frenzied Pace Chasers)
・Good mostly for Late Surgers and Mile races. |
Rice Shower (Showered In Joy)
|
・Has a lot of debuff skills against Pace Chasers (Frenzied, Subdued, and Flustered Pace Chasers)
・Has the debuff skill Disorient for Pace Chaser style. ・Has the recovery skill Adrenaline Rush. |
Debuffers are not exactly a category of running style, but is a strategy that comes handy in more competitive races such as Team Trials. Some Support Cards will give useful skills for slowing down other racers, giving you an edge in controlling the crowd for overtakes.
When building for debuffers, take into account the kind of debuff skills you'll want since most debuff skills will only target racers with a specific style.

Tazuna’s strength is that her events and recreation have a lot of heals, mood ups, and negative status removal. She also reduces the energy cost of training. So even though she might not contribute as many stats directly, if you play efficiently you can get more training sessions in a playthrough, which more than makes up for it.
