Rare Skills are displayed with a gold background and are superior versions of Normal Skills. The effects of these Skills are much more effective when activated during a race.
Rare Skills that are upgrades to Normal Skill requires you to learn the Normal Skill first. Learning the Rare Skill causes both skills to be learned at once, consuming Skill Points for both Skills.
