Umamusume Stories Guide
Raise Bond Levels to Unlock Episodes
Umamusume Stories is a series of short episodes, each focusing on a different character. Raising a character's bond level unlocks viewable episodes, providing additional stories for that character.
Players are further incentivized to try out more characters because viewing episodes for the first time also provides a certain amount of Carats.
Currently, only playable trainees have their own set of Umamusume story episodes. More stories are added as new characters are introduced.
Umamusume Event Stories
For a limited time, players can view the first few episodes of a character's Umamusume story while the character is featured during their Banner. This allows players to earn some Carats, but they will be unable to progress further if they don't own the character due to the Bond level requirement.
Featured banner characters get added to the list of Umamusume Stories, but they will be locked once the event period ends. Naturally, players will have to own that character in order to access that character's story once the event period ends.

By reaching Bond level 6 and completing all seven episodes, players can attain a total of 230 Carats per character.
