Finish A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn
To unlock Old Friends & New Brews, players must complete the A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn Trailblaze Mission series from the Penacony chapter of the main story.

Old Friends & New Brews is a direct sequel to the previous event, Vignettes in a Cup. This event features similar mechanics and is permanently available in the game via the Conventional Memoir!

Unlock Early with Finality's Vision
If you're at Trailblaze Level 21 or higher, it's possible to unlock the event without clearing the pre-requisites above! Finality's Vision will temporarily be available during the event period to let you start the event early.

In Old Brews & New Friends, you can mix drinks for Herta, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Sparkle, and Kafka! Each of these guests have specific drink requests. Follow the ingredient hints to discover the drink recipes needed for each guest!
Once you've successfully served all guest groups, you can unlock Extra Hours and serve an additional drink outside of their base Drink Menu to see their reactions.

- Step 1: Serve Guests as a Drinksmith
- Step 2: Mix Drinks to Discover Recipes
- Step 3: Give Surprise Drinks to Customers
- Step 4: Restore All Special Mix Recipes
Serve Guests as a Drinksmith
In Old Brews & New Friends, you will become a drinksmith once more at the Dreamjolt Hostelry! Similar to the Vignettes in a Cup event, you'll need to create various drinks and serve customers at the bar.
Mix Drinks to Discover Recipes
During regular business hours, you must serve each group of customers based on their needs or requests. As you make drinks, you can also try to make a Special Mix Recipe that can cause interesting hidden effects on the customers!
Give Surprise Drinks to Customers
You can also invite customers back to taste an additional surprise drink and discover more recipes. Once they taste the drink, they'll leave their reviews and allow you to gain more insight on the drink you served them!
Restore All Special Mix Recipes
Continue serving the guests and experimenting with ingredients and drink effects to complete all the Special Mix Recipes and gain rewards!
