When training for Umamusume that will race on Sprint races, you should mainly focus on Speed as Sprints only have short distances and don't need Stamina that much.
Training Speed will also increase your Power a bit which is needed if you're playing as Pace Chaser, Late Surger, or End Closer.
| Front Runner | |
|---|---|
| Pace Chaser | |
| Late Surger | |
| End Closer |
Front Runner won't need much Power as the Power that they get from Speed training is enough. However, if you are playing any of the other styles then you should train your Power more depending on what style you're using.

To do better in Sprint races, prioritize getting Sprint skills whenever you get hints during your Training.

Sprint racers will require your Umamusume to have a lot of Speed so use 3-4 Speed cards whenever you are training a sprinter.
Depending on what running style your Umamusume is good at, we suggest using at least 2 Power cards so they have an easier time overtaking racers on their front.
The Support Cards listed above are well-suited for Sprint distance races, as they give many skills that will let you perform better in these races.
For instance, the Sakura Bakushin O card give many Sprint related skills, making her one of the best Sprint cards in the game. However, she cannot be used on Sakura Bakushin O during career because they are the same character.
Sakura Bakushin O (Blossom in Learning)
|
Sakura Bakushin O has a 20% growth rate on Speed, in addition to having an A rank on her Sprint aptitude which makes her the easiest Sprint Umamusume to train.
Taiki Shuttle (Wild Frontier)
|
Taiki Shuttle is another good Sprint runner as she has an A rank on Sprint. She also has Pace Chaser skills which works well with this distance.
Haru Urara (Bestest Prize)
|
Not only does Haru Urara have an A rank on Sprint, but she also has an A rank for Dirt making her an ideal Sprinter for Dirt tracks.
