Note: The progession of Heart of Gold may heavily influence the outcome of all Good Deeds related to the refugees.
  1. Speak with Atticus
  2. Eliminate the Timeloop
  3. Loot the Keys of the ON Vehicle
  4. Bring the Keys to Atticus

1. Speak with Atticus in Vyssa Hills

Hell is Us - Follow the road near the Timeloop until you find the ladder
Look for the Timeloop in Vyssa Hills. Next to it, there is a road with a wooden arch by its entrance. Follow the road all the way until you find a ladder.

Hell is Us - Talk to Atticus after climbing the ladder
Climb the ladder and you will find a Atticus standing on the top. Talk to him and he will tell you how he plans to rescue the refugees in the nearby camp.

2. Eliminate the Nearby Timeloop

Hell is Us - Eliminate the Timeloop in Vyssa Hills

Enter the Timeloop in Vyssa Hills. Use an Amine Prism - Sigma to close this down. Take note that you need to have learned all about accessing Timeloops at this point.

3. Loot the Corpse for the Keys - ON Vehicle

Hell is Us - Loot the Keys - ON Vehicle from the corpse of an ON Soldier

Once the Timeloop has been closed down, a corpse of an ON Soldier will appear. Loot the Keys - ON Vehicle and make your way back to Atticus. This will activate the Good Deed.

4. Bring the Keys - ON Vehicle to Atticus

Hell is Us - Trade the Keys - ON Vehicle with Atticus

Trade the Keys - ON Vehicle with Atticus so he can rescue the refugees in the camp. This will accomplish the Good Deed.

How to Unlock Heart of Gold

Pick up the Keys - ON Vehicle from the Body of an ON Soldier

Heart of Gold will activate once you pick up the Keys - ON Vehicle from the corpse of an ON Soldier after closing the Timeloop. Bring this to Atticus, who needs the key to save the refugees residing in the nearby camp.

This Good Deed does not have a deadline, but its outcome will depend on the completed refugee-related Good Deeds. Depending on when you decide to finish Heart of Gold, this can have a significant change on the results of that Good Deed.

Death's Door Diana Kos Failure to accomplish Death's Door before Heart of Gold will result to Diana Kos's death.
