List of Contents

Once you have used the four keystones in Lake Cynon and opened the massive door, you set foot into the final moments of the game. It would be noticeable that manual save spots will not give the travel to APC option. Journeying through the door would lead you to a tunnel towards Mount Obek and reach the Golden Eye.
This is the game's point of no return, the stage for the final challenge and boss fight for the game. Do not enter without preparing adequate upgrades, consumables, and levels to defeat the final stage.
Act 3 Complete Walkthrough and Secrets

After the final cutscene and rolling of credits, the game will inform you that you can reload your save and continue exploring the world of Hell Is Us. This gives more leniency for further completion; however, note that you might not be able to complete certain side content that are progression or time-sensitive.

Good Deeds are side content connected to the NPCs found in the game. These events often require you to cooperate or submit an item to an NPC, which will make their story whole. Since these are heavily tied to the characters in the game, some of them require you to reach certain parts of the story before completing.
| Good Deed | Condition | Failed Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Land of Milk and Honey | Must be completed before the Lymbic Forge is finished (end of Act 1). | If you return after the deadline, the Judith Karry's baby has died. She has moved and is found mourning the child. |

| Waylaid | Both survivors must be saved before the 3rd Keystone is gathered. | If you wait too long, the ON Peacekeepers will be dead. |
| Death’s Door | If you finish Act 1 or send off the getaway truck without helping Diana. | Diana will die. Her grave appears either in the refugee camp or with Ernest’s sons in Senedra, depending on your progress. |
| Forlorn Fate | Must be completed before the 3rd Keystone is obtained. | The survivors are found dead inside. |
| A Light in the Dark | Must deliver all flares before the evacuation truck leaves Talju during the Main Quest. | Survivors will reject the Flare, saying it’s too late. They will later be found dead near their homes. |

Mysteries are scattered interactive puzzles that can be discovered throughout the map. Fortunately, these do not have deadlines or alternate outcomes, and you can complete them after finishing the story.

Timeloops are events identified by distorted bubbles in different regions of the game. To gain access to Timeloops, you must defeat Timeloop Guardians surrounding the area and use an Amine Prism inside. These events not only provide you with notable rewards such as Relics and Glyphs, but they also stop certain creatures from spawning within the area.
Only a few select Timeloops are required to progress in the story, which is why it is easy to miss others!

Equipment and socketables can be looted or obtained as rewards from various quests or puzzles. These items are crucial for combat, so obtaining them is highly recommended for easier progression. Try to keep an eye out for hidden areas and keep track of all the side content to get all the gear available in the game.
| Research | Miscellaneous |
| Consumables | Exploration |
Last but not least are items, particularly those that are tied to optional content and are consumed either directly or through the blacksmith. There are 4 types of missable items, namely Exploration, Research, Miscellanous, and Consumables.
Exploration and Research items are used to complete quests such as Good Deeds and Mysteries, and to unlock Vaults of Knowledge. Consumables, as the name suggests, provide buffs, healing, or are used to upgrade gear. Miscellaneous items have no functional use in gameplay but offer story clues and lore.
Investigation items are the only type of item that cannot be missed, as they are required to progress through the story. These are considered Key Items used to aid you in exploration or used to solve crucial puzzles and challenges in the game.
