The False Sovereign Location and How to Get to It
Located in the Sanguis Plateaus
The False Sovereign resides in the Sanguis Plateaus, at the Earthrend Wedge section of the region. Note that it will only appear normally after the events of the By Sun's Burning Hand Story Quest.
Note that starting the By Sun's Burning Hand quest will stop the boss from spawning naturally. If you wish to challenge it early, you will have to do so before starting the quest, else you will need to complete the quest entirely to be able to fight the boss.

Avoid Using Electro and Havoc
The False Sovereign has an innate resistance to Electro and Havoc DMG. While it is not impossible to defeat using these elements, it is recommended to swap to other damage types for an easier time against the boss.
Take Note of The Sovereign's Mobility
The False Sovereign is an incredibly agile combatant that can move across the battlefield quickly, and can strike from several angles in a single combo. Keep it in your sights to avoid getting caught unaware by its attacks.
Be Aware of the Dark Tide Summons
The Sovereign can also conjure several summons from the Dark Tide as part of its attacks. These summons lend themselves to complicated combos, so use your dodge wisely to avoid both the Sovereign and the summons.
Watch Out for its Electrocution Attack
The False Sovereign has a combo wherein it dashes towards the ground from the air, channeling electricity as it lands to deal massive Electro damage to Resonators in the AoE.
When you see it charge electricity in the air, get far away from its landing point to avoid losing a Resonator to the multiple ticks of damage from the attack.
