| 1 |  Head to the official SHiFT site to create your account. You can either create a new account or link your account from an existing platform. |
| 2 |  After filling up the required information, a reconfirmation code will be sent to you. Retrieve and enter the code to proceed. |
| 3 |  Once you log in into your account, head to Gaming Platforms on the sidebar. Sign in to the platform where you purchased Borderlands 4 and it should link them. |
It is highly recommended to create and link a SHiFT account as this process is free and will net you several benefits!
SHiFT Account Benefits
Hazard Pay Weapon Skin
You will receive a weapon skin called Hazard Pay once you link your SHiFT account to Borderlands 4. Note that an internet connection is required to redeem this weapon skin.
Enables Crossplay
Signing up and linking your SHiFT account to Borderlands 4 will enable crossplay. Crossplay allows you to play multiplayer with other consoles, giving you more options when it comes to multiplayer.
