How to Get Vesticrest
- Defeat the Widow to Get Needolin
- Travel to Moss Grotto and Unlock the Door
- Destroy the Wall in the Lower Floor
Defeat Widow to Unlock Needolin
To get the Vesticrest, you'll need to defeat the Widow in Bellhart to unlock the Needolin. Note that you need to get Cling Grip to fight Widow, which you can only get by defeating Sister Splinter.
Unlock the Door in Moss Grotto

Once you've unlocked the Needolin, head to the Bone Bottom's Moss Grotto. You can find a door that is locked in the eastern part of the area. Use your Needolin to unlock this and to be able to get inside.
Destroy the Wall in the Lower Floor
When you're inside, continue down the Hallway until you reach the end of the room. Hit the glowing cores in the room to power up the facility. Once you're done, head to the elevator room that will lead you down to the basement.
Once you've entered the secret hole, just keep going until you end up in a room where Eva is. Talk to her and she'll likely give you the first Vesticrest. Note that there are certain requirements that need to be met before you can get the Vesticrest.
How to Expand Vesticrest
Unlock Crest and Use Memory Lockets
To unlock Vesticrests, you need to use a certain amount of Memory Lockets and have unlocked a certain number of crests to receive a Vesticrest from Eva. Once you meet these requirements, she can either give you a Vesticrest or upgrade your Hunter Crest.
Vesticrest Expansion Requirements

To unlock your first Vesticrest, you'll need to have at least used up 3x Memory Lockets for your Crests. To get the next Blue Slot for your Vesticrest, you need at least 5 Crests unlocked and have used an additional 3 Memory Lockets.
There are only 4 Crest available during Act I and you'll need to progress till you're at Act 2 and choose between getting either Witch or the Architect for your 5th crest.

For the yellow, despite some people in the comments saying it's wrong, I think the "use 3 lockets" is actually a requirement, but perhaps there's a second requirement linked to total amount of crests like there is for the blue vesticrest. I had 2 memory lockets used, when i reached this. I used one more (3 total), and then I was offered the yellow vesticrest. So I think i had 4 total crests unlocked at the moment.
