What Are Challenges?
Rewards for Specific In-Game Tasks
Challenges are missions that reward you for achieving specific tasks like killing enemies with a certain type of weapon 200 times or defeating a boss.
It is best to complete challenges as you play the game. Use different gear and explore Kairos to regularly add progress to your challenges!
Tracked for Each Vault Hunter
Each vault hunter in your account will have their own progress for their challenges. This means that any progress or completion for a challenge will only be tracked for that specific character slot.
Challenges Rewards
EXP, Cash, and Eridium
Challenges usually reward you with experience points, cash, and Eridium. This is a good source of Eridium in the early game as you will complete random challenges over time.
The rarity of the reward will indicate the amount you will receive, with rarer qualities giving more of that resource.
Challenges Can Have Multiple Rewards
Some challenges can be completed multiple times, as noted by the diamonds next to their name. Every time you complete a tier, you will receive its listed rewards.
Skins for Customization
On certain tiers of some challenges, you will be rewarded with a skin. You can preview and equip it in the Customization menu.
Unlocks Next Ultimate Vault Hunter Level
In Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, you will receive a new page of challenges. When you complete them, you will unlock a Wildcard Mission. After finishing that, you will unlock the next level of difficulty and rewards for Ultimate Vault Hunter.
