Borderlands 4 - Roadmap
Pearlescent rarity is officially coming back in Borderlands 4. According to the Borderlands 4 roadmap, Pearlescent rarity is set to launch in Q1 2026, with the release of Bounty Pack 2.

These rare weapons and gear will be added as part of a free update for all players, whether they own the Deluxe or Super Deluxe editions of the game.

Harder to Find, Stronger Than Ever

Pearlescent gear will have incredibly low drop rates, making them some of the hardest loot to obtain in the game. Their stats and unique effects will reflect their rarity giving endgame leveled power for those who obtain them.
