Quent is a supporting character that accompanies you during the Unpaid Tab main mission. See the outcome for saving or losing Quent along with the tips on how to save him by continuing below.
List of Contents
| Choice | Result and Dialogue |
|---|---|
| Save Quent | Quent lives, bringing relief to the whole group. "That's right, me boyo. You're safe." - Zane. |
| Lose Quent | Quent dies, causing Zane to blame himself for Quent's death. "This is my fault. Should never've brought him here. Right selfish." - Zane. |
The main difference between saving and losing Quent is the dialogue change. If you manage to save Quent, Zane, Levaine, and your character will be relieved with the dialogue supporting their mutual feelings.
Losing Quent will play a different dialogue wherein Zane will blame himself for bringing Quent during the Unpaid Tab mission. This fuels their anger more towards Callis, vowing that they will destroy him.
| How to Save Quent | |
|---|---|
| 1 |
Look above and pull 5 levers from the machine. |
| 2 |
Destroy the 4 glowing pipes to destroy the machine. Completing both actions will save Quent from his demise. |
To save Quent, you must pull 5 levers and destory 4 pipes before the 60 second timer runs out. You can do both actions simultaneously and no order of action is required.
Saving or losing Quent may enhance your immersion towards the story for different reasons. Saving Quent will give the mission a happy ending while losing Quent will give more motivation to kill Callis.
Whether you decide to save or lose Quent, the rewards for completing the mission will remain the same.

I had zero idea there was a timer because I was busy looking at the loot dropped from the boss. Would have been nice if there was more than just some tiny text in the top left of my screen...

exact same thing happened to me. Beat the boss, grabbed a drink and started looking at loot until I realized there was a timer without nearly enough time left lol. There definitely needs to be more emphasis/something in your face to let you know, even if it's flashing lights or something similar to let you know YOU'RE NOT DONE YET
