Silk and Soul is a Wayfarer Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Read on to see a full walkthrough to completing the side quest, rewards, how to start and its objectives.

Silk and Soul Walkthrough

Obtain the Three Souls From the Elders

To obtain the three souls which are The Maiden's Soul, the Hermit's Soul, and the Seeker's Soul, you'll need to talk to two NPCs in the game and access one of the late-game areas.

Maiden's Soul Chapel Maid LocationThe Maiden's Soul can be obtained by talking to the Chapel Maiden at Bone Bottom
Hermit's Soul hermit locationTalk to the Hermit which can be found past the hidden wall on the Bell Beast station.
Seeker's Soul SeekerHead to the upper right corner of the Bile Water area. You'll need to defeat Groal the Great to access the area to obtain the Seeker's soul.

The last item you'll need it the trap that the caretaker will use to infuse the soul with for the trap.

Access to Act 3

Completing the Silk and Soul wish will give you the ability to access the alternate ending route for Act 2. Doing so will let you progress the game past its intended act 2 and unlock the rest of the game after defeating Grand Mother Silk.

How to Start Silk and Soul

Complete The Majority of Wishwell Wishes

One of the major prerequisites to unlocking the Silk and Soul wish is to complete most Wellwishes in the game. This does not include deliveries but the exact wishes needed to be completed is still being tested. However, we highly recommend completing all the wishes to obtain unique rewards such as tools to gain more options as you play through the game.

All Wishes and Side Quest Locations and Rewards

Unlock the Cradle Region

The Cradle is the highest area at the top of the Citadel. You'll need to learn the three melodies and defeat the guardian that blocks you way to the Citadel.

Make the Flea Caravan Move to Fleatopia

Fleatopia location

The final condition to unlock the Silk and Soul wish is to make the Flea Caravan move to Fleatopia. To do this, you'll need to find roughly 23-25 Fleas and head to the area where the Fleatopia will be situated.

To reach the zone, you'll need to enter the Putrified ducts through a secret area on the right-most side of the Memorium which is the same area you'll save Jubilana.
