How to Get Cryo Weapons

Cryo Weapon

The Cryo element can be found on weapons and ordnance, and these are randomly obtained as loot or bought from Vending Machines. Cryo damage has a chance to freeze targets, temporarily puttng them in place and dealing Damage-Over-Time (DoT).

You should farm bosses via Moxxi's Big Encore in any completed boss arena for more chances in getting Cryo loot that's at your current level.

Cryo is a strong element against Armor and works fine against Flesh targets. Dealing Cryo damage on a target has a chance to freeze it, temporarily immobilizing them and making it much easier for players to focus on weakpoints.

Weapons with the Cryo element can be sometimes found across manufacturers, but it is commonly found in guns manufactured by Maliwan.

Rafa does not have any Cryo skills, therefore, he has no way to directly apply or boost Cryo damage himself. You'll have to apply Cryo damage through other means, such as through elemental weapons.
