How to Unlock Whack-A-Thresher
Complete Breeding Daisies
You need to complete the Breeding Daisies side mission first before unlocking Whack-A-Thresher.
Once unlocked, you can start the side mission by talking to Mort in his ranch, south of The Howl and west of The Launchpad.
Whack-A-Thresher Walkthrough
Slam Some Threshers
Once you've accepted the mission, Mort will ask you to slam threshers that pop out of the ground. To perform a ground slam, double jump and hold the Circle button (PlayStation) or B button (Xbox). Slam the threshers seven times to complete the mission.
To do this efficiently, hop on top of the water tank for a better view of the ranch. When a blue marker appears, immediately double jump and ground slam toward it. You can also glide for more responsive ground slams.
