Farm the Red Chest in Stillshore

Red Chest Farm Map

A locked Red Chest can be easily farmed in Stillshore which is located at the southwest point of the Coastal Bonescape. This Red Chest is a good source for repeatable early-game loot and XP for early levelling. It will always spawn at Stillshore every time you load into your game.

Red Chest Farm Stillshore 1
Head over to Stillshore in the Coastal Bonescape. Make sure to pass by the Active Checkpoint.

Red Chest Farm Stillshore 2
Engage in combat with the Rippers at Stillshore. You will need to kill a few to trigger some Badasses to spawn from the buildings.

Red Chest Farm Stillshore 3
Defeat all Badasses. Once defeated, the Red Chest will automatically unlock.

Red Chest Farm Stillshore 4
Loot the Red Chest, then select Quit Game → Quit to Main Menu. Afterwards, load up your save (select 'Continue'). You will be back at the nearby Active Checkpoint, and you can cycle back to Step 1.
From here, repeat Steps 1-4 to farm the Red Chest.

Looting the Red Chest Farm

The Red Chest at Stillshore is a good source for farming loot in the early-game if you want quick access to rare loot. However, you'll do just fine progressing through quests and earning loot through other means if you have already progressed past the Coastal Bonescape.

Early on in the game, the Stillshore area for the Red Chest Farm can also serve as an XP farm since it respawns the Rippers, along with the Badasses, every time you load into the save. You can take most of them out with ease just by sniping from the location of the Active Checkpoint.

Farming this Red Chest also contributes to the Private Reserve Challenge. So if you're aiming to complete challenges for some nice rewards such as Cash, XP, and Eridium, this farming strat is a good pick for it.
