This is a walkthrough for the Flat Kairoser side mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission.

How to Unlock Flat Kairoser
Complete A Lot to Process
You need to complete the A Lot to Process main mission first before unlocking Flat Kairoser.
Once unlocked, you can start the side mission by talking to Skeptical Sam outside his shack, under a rock arch in the western part of Cuspid Climb.

Take Flat Kairos
| # | Walkthrough |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Once you've accepted the quest, listen to Skeptical Sam and take the flat Kairos from him. |
| 2 |  He will then ask you to stomp the globe on top of the rock. Get on top of his shack, double jump, and perform a ground slam on the globe. |
| 3 |  Follow Sam, then climb the mountain using your grappling hook and reach the shrine on the right. |
Collect Surveying Equipment
| # | Walkthrough |

| 1 |  Head to the wrecked ship just north of Sam's shack. Be careful, as there are enemies in the area! |
| 2 |  Collect three surveying equipment. The first two are in the northwest corner of the area. One next to a porta potty and the other under a ruined building. |
| 3 |  For the third surveying equipment, climb on top of the ruined building using your grappling hook and glide to the wing. It will be near the tip of the wing, next to the ammo cache. |
| 4 |  With all surveying equipment collected, find a suitable launch site. From the wrecked ship, head east to a climbable wall on the side of the mountain just past the road. |
| 5 |  Climb the mountain and make your way south through the village until you reach a large animal skeleton. |
| 6 |  Place the atmospheric surveyors on the skeleton, then activate each one to launch them into the air. |
Find the Balloons
| # | Walkthrough |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Follow the balloons. The first balloon is on the side of the road with pink trees, located north of Cuspid Climb and southeast of The Shredded Summit. Shoot the balloon, then retrieve the data from the surveyor. |
| 2 |  For the next balloons, drive past Cloudbank heading north, then take the left turn. The second balloon will be destroyed by the Order, but the third will be stuck on an antenna on the right side of the road. |
| 3 |  Use your grappling hook to free the balloon from the antenna and retrieve the data from the surveyor. |
Talk to Sam

| 1 |  Travel to Sam's hideout in the Gilded Drop, southeast of Stoneblood Forest. Climb up using your grappling hook. |
| 2 |  Talk to Sam and upload the first photo to his computer. The first photo will have the cap on. Next, upload the second photo, which will show the globe this time. |
| 3 |  Watch the final cutscene to complete the mission. |

Flat as a Fritter Skins
Completing Flat Kairoser will also reward you with the Flat as a Fritter Vault Hunter Style and Flat as a Fritter ECHO-4 Paintjob, both of which you can use in the Customization menu.
