This is a walkthrough for the PowerDrop side mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission.

How to Unlock PowerDrop
Complete Rush the Gate
You need to complete the Rush the Gate main mission first before unlocking PowerDrop.
Once unlocked, you can start the side mission by talking to Monty inside the underground bunker of The Launchpad, southeast of The Howl. Note that PowerDrop is not repeatable.

Throw the Power Core

| 1 |  Once you've accepted the quest, press the button on the stairs to purchase a power core for $500. |
| 2 |  Pick up the power core and throw it into the chute above the gambling machine. The power core must land in the middle slot to hit the jackpot. If you fail, you can purchase another power core and try again. |
| * | As of this writing, there is currently no real strategy for hitting the jackpot. You’ll need to keep buying and throwing power cores until you succeed. |
| 3 |  When you hit the jackpot, check the reward chest on the right side. Opening the chest will complete the mission. |

In addition to the EXP, Cash, and Eridium, you will also receive random gun(s) and equipment from the reward chest when you hit the jackpot in the gambling machine.
