This is a walkthrough for the Potty Mouth side mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission, as well as whether you should erase GenIVIV.
How to Unlock Potty Mouth
Complete Siege and Destroy
You need to complete the Siege and Destroy main mission first before unlocking Potty Mouth.
Once unlocked, you can start the side mission by talking to the toilet in Embracer's Buff, located in the northern part of Lopside.

Talk to GenIVIV
| # | Walkthrough |

| 1 |  Enter the building left of the toilet and head upstairs to talk to the town leader, Mayor Payne. |
| 2 |  Return to the toilet and talk to GenIVIV. Then, climb on the roof of the building using your grappling hook and interact with the computer to use the Clap Signal. |
| 3 |  Claptrap will arrive. Talk to him and he'll go to GenIVIV. Once Claptrap's head gets stuck in the toilet, flush GenIVIV out, pull the lever on the left side, then smack Claptrap with a melee attack. |
| 4 |  Head back to the building and smack the Broomba on the ground floor, then take it. |
| 5 | Place the Broomba in front of Claptrap so he can start transferring GenIVIV to it. Once its, slap GenIVIV, then pick her up after. |
Find New Body for GenIVIV

| 1 |  Make your way northeast to the Order depot, located in the center of Grindstone of the Worthy, near the Crawlcroft Bunker. Kill all enemies in the area! |
| 2 |  Enter the depot and talk to Claptrap. Interact with the computer next to the door to open the experimental model closet and take the experimental model. |
| 3 | Go outside and place the constructor bot to build a new body for GenIVIV. |
| 4 | Defeat the counterattack and kill the Order heavy. |
Put an End to GenIVIV

| 1 |  Follow GenIVIV to the ripper camp in The Decked Sprawl, just north of the Order depot. Help GenIVIV kill the rippers outside. |
| 2 | Enter The Decked Sprawl and continue killing Rippers with GenIVIV. |
| 3 |  As GenIVIV becomes more bloodlusted, she will hack into other enemies, and start attacking you. Kill GenIVIV and put an end to her! |
| 4 |  After destroying GenIVIV, collect her core and take it to Moxxi's bar. |
| 5 |  Head to Moxxi's Bottoms Up in the southwest part of the Ruined Sumplands and talk to Moxxi. |
| 6 |  You're then given the choice to either give GenIVIV to Moxxi to erase her AI or place GenIVIV into the sound system next to the bar. Either way, the mission ends the same. |
| 7 | Once you've made your decision, head outside and talk to Claptrap to complete the mission. |
Should You Erase GenIVIV?
Either Choice Will Have the Same Mission Ending
At the end of Potty Mouth, you're given the choice to either give GenIVIV to Moxxi to erase her AI or place GenIVIV into the bar's sound system.
Both choices lead to the same outcome and only slightly change your conversation with Claptrap afterward. Take this as a roleplaying opportunity to decide whether GenIVIV should live or die based on her actions in the ripper camp.
