Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Overview
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (or simply Bloodlines 2) is an upcoming first-person action RPG set to release on October 21, 2025. Developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Interactive, it serves as a sequel to the 2004 cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The game builds on the lore of the World of Darkness universe, a gothic setting where vampires secretly coexist with humans under the rules of the Masquerade—a code designed to keep their existence hidden.
As Phyre, an Elder Kindred who awakens after a century of torpor in modern-day Seattle, players will have to navigate the power struggle of various vampire clans and face an imminent conflict that threatens to erupt into open war.
Players can choose from three core gameplay styles, each tied to a vampire clan in Bloodlines 2: Strategic Stalker, Action Brawler, and Narrative Adventurer. These styles shape how players experience and interact with the world around them.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Gameplay
Players will be able to create their own version of Phyre in Bloodlines 2, choosing from one of four vampire clans, each offering distinct abilities, known as Disciplines, and playstyles: stealth, brute combat, magical prowess, or manipulation.
Choice and consequences are important in Bloodlines 2, with multiple factions vying for influence and alliances that can shape the narrative. Players can explore Seattle’s districts, feeding on humans to sustain their character’s vitality while ensuring their actions don’t violate the Masquerade. Violations can lead to repercussions not only among the law enforcement, but also from the clans that uphold this agreement.
